Launch of the "Angina" Study Results
Amidst a prestigious scientific atmosphere in Beirut, we celebrated the launch of the results for the Angina Study. This marks the first Post-Marketing Surveillance (PMS) study conducted in Syria focusing on patients with chronic stable angina, featuring the participation of elite cardiologists.

Opening Remarks: The event was inaugurated by Dr. Firas Razouk, General Manager of the Commercial Department, with a welcoming speech. He reaffirmed Ibn Al-Haytham’s enduring vision of being true partners in healthcare.
Scientific Lecture: Dr. Ahmad Kahwatiya, Medical Consultant at the company, delivered a valuable lecture on Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM). He highlighted the vital importance of this type of study and its pivotal role in developing treatment protocols and improving daily medical practice.
Study Protocol: Dr. Yahya Youzgatli, Cardiovascular Product Manager at Ibn Al-Haytham, presented the protocol adopted for the study.
Results Presentation: The study results were presented by Professor Dr. Ahmad Rashid Al-Saadi, the Principal Investigator. He graciously moderated the scientific discussions regarding the key findings and their impact on enhancing medical practice.
Key Facts & Findings:
The "Angina" study included 481 patients monitored by 52 cardiology specialists across various Syrian governorates. The results demonstrated:
High Efficacy: Significant improvement in the severity and frequency of angina attacks, along with a reduction in nitrate consumption.
Quality of Life: A gradual and notable improvement according to the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) classification.
