The Beginning: 1992 – 1994
Ibn Al-Haytham (HZM) Pharmaceutical Industries was established in 1992 as a Private Limited Company in the historic city of Aleppo. Our operations officially launched from the Al-Mansoura area in 1994. Our journey began with great ambition and fruitful international collaborations with leading Italian firms (Benedetti & Ripari-Gero), aimed at transferring technical expertise and advanced technology to the Syrian market.
Syrian Leadership with Global Standards
Quality has never been just a slogan for us; it is the cornerstone upon which we built our identity. We were pioneers in establishing a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) and among the first Syrian companies to adopt Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

2002: Our efforts were recognized by achieving the ISO 9001 certification.

2010: A landmark year where we obtained the European GMP certification following intensive training programs by European experts.
This milestone was crowned by the inauguration of a state-of-the-art facility in 2010, equipped with the latest global pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies. Subsequently, the company expanded its reach with the opening of a new branch in Lattakia, further solidifying our growth and commitment to excellence.
